
When the team at Black Sheep Tattoo reached out, they had a clear vision for how they wanted their artists to be represented. Creating that look meant transforming a busy, working tattoo studio into a controlled portrait environment without losing the character of the space.
The biggest challenge wasn’t taking the photographs—it was everything that happened beforehand. Working within the shop’s layout required careful planning, precise lighting, and countless small adjustments to achieve the look they envisioned. By the time the shutter was pressed, every element had been deliberately refined to create bold, consistent portraits that reflected both the artists and the identity of the studio.
